History

2012

After facing job-hunting challenges post-graduation, I began tutoring children in Singapore, sparking a deep passion for teaching through one-on-one sessions at their homes. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for my future, setting the stage for what would eventually become Ace IBDP.

2013

I then worked in Singapore with an online education platform, assisting students with their university applications. I also managed their SAT program and trained students for the GRE, further honing my skills in educational guidance and support.

2017

2017 marked the start of my journey with IB tutoring, specifically with IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) students. Recognizing the significant challenges IBDP students face, particularly in transitioning from the IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP), I saw a market need for specialized support. 

2019

By 2019, I founded IB Excellence, recognizing the market potential and the lack of local expertise in this domain. I established a small, in-person tutoring academy, offering one-on-one and limited-size and personalized group sessions to support students.

2024

Understanding the need for a global online presence and to support a larger community of students, Ace IBDP was born.
